I made this photo looking south toward Arran from the beach at St. Ninian's on Isle of Bute, Scotland. It was a damp, misty day with the sun trying to burn through, succeeding at times but mostly not. The ruins to the centre of the image are those of an ancient smokehouse. The buildings on the right are cottages that are mainly used as holiday-lets.
